Review
Another glorious explosion of political satire in the form of great music
from one of Britain's foremost protest bands, Seize The Day. I first saw
this band playing under a makeshift marquee at a baby naming rite, many
years ago, and became thoroughly addicted; what a pleasure to know that
they are now regulars on the circuit, including Glastonbury Festival.
The band still manage to blend acute political insight, at times detailing
the most horrific capitalist and state-sponsored terrorism, with both
a sharp scathing blade of wit and a rhythm that gets under your skin,
just begging you to dance. ALIVE is a double CD album of live music, sparkling
with all it means to be totally awake and alive.
