Winterlight is inspired by the Midwinter Festival. It begins at the first New Moon after the Big Dipper (Arthur's Plow) appears directly overhead, usually mid-January to early February.

Saprising begins when the sap begins rising in the Maple trees, usually in early to mid-March, a sure sign of Spring. Seedtime is in mid-April to early May, after the final frosts, when crops may be planted safely.

Wildberry occurrs in late May or early June, when the wild strawberries appear in the meadows.

Tallcorn takes place when the ripe corn stands tall in the fields. This is usually in mid-August.

Harvesthome is celebrated in early October, as all the crops are harvested and stored, leaving the fields fallow for another winter.
