Nuinn has always been a wise guide me, a gentle guardian whose teachings are often a little broader and lighter than I am naturally seeking. As such he is a great teacher, with a genial intelligence, inspiring us to be adaptable, to acknowledge different perspectives. Steeped in folklore from many cultures, Ash can grow straight and tall, sometimes as high as 150 feet. It may be this natural characteristic that led it to be associated so strongly with both Celtic and Norse mythology; and with both male and female flowers and fruits appearing on the same tree, Ash offers me a view of coping with change and transformation, a vision of positivity, helping find direction and connection, reminding me that everything I do is connected with everything else, with the entire web of existence.
