Growing Your Own

These pages are about how we can express and nourish our relationship with the land through growing some of our own food.

Producing some of what we eat ourselves can appeal to Druids simply because it has such huge environmental benefits, but it can also enable us to craft deeper relationship with the rocks and soils we live on, with the rain, the seasons, the food we eat, our cravings and needs, the weather in our locality, our own bodies and our ancestors.  Growing your own can be a powerful way of honouring, understanding and acknowleding your own place in this inspiring connected weave.

Whether you have a garden with a vegetable patch, an allotment near your home or a windowsill crowded with herbs and spouting seeds, we would love to hear your stories, share your tips for sucess, lessons learnt, laughter and mud, photos and poems inspired by your adventures in growing your own.

If you would like to contribute stories and information to these pages please contact the Environmental Projects Co-ordinator.
